
Cooperative Studies faculty members come from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds. Often they have completed a successful academic career in North America and are ready for new teaching challenges. Others serve during a sabbatical from their university. Some join CS as a Teaching Fellow early in their academic career because of their desire to teach internationally. Some have had successful professional careers in law, business or medicine and have chosen to devote a period of time to assisting universities where their expertise is needed.
The personal character and quality of work of each faculty member is important to host universities.
