
1990: Even before we were incorporated as Cooperative Studies, Dr. McCarthy began establishing partnerships with several countries including universities in Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia.
1992: Began working with universities in the People’s Republic of China.
1993: Teaching Fellows were sent to a partner university in Belarus.
1995: Signed protocols with leading universities in Vietnam.
2000: Established partnerships with universities in Bangladesh.
2001-2002: Professors began working in Hungary. Hanoi School of Business hosted the American Business Leadership Workshop in Vietnam.
2002-2003: First professor placed in Morocco. New university partnership established in Kiev, Ukraine.
2003-2004: Provided in-service training for 120 university professors in Kabul, Afghanistan. More than one ton of books shipped to partner universities in Czech Republic, China, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
2004-2005: Professors teaching in Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, China, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Romania, Morocco, Ukraine and Vietnam. Continuing innovation of business programs in Vietnam.
2005-2006: Expanding partnerships with universities in China. CS Teaching Fellow began teaching at the University College of Cork, Ireland.
2006-2007: Establishing new partnerships with universities in Bulgaria, Hungary, Tajikistan and Romania. In Kabul, UNESCO sponsors CS to provide specialized seminars for the presidents of all the universities in Afghanistan and for a group of deans and chief academic officers. Thirty-three professors teaching in 13 nations.
2007-2008: Professors serving for the first time in Croatia, India and Portugal.
2008-2009: Professors serving for the first time in Cambodia, Tanzania, Nicaragua and Mongolia. CS Teach Fellows began teaching at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
2009-2010: First professor placed in South Africa. Established partnerships with universities in Cameroon.
2010-2011: Professors serving for the first time in The Gambia, Cameroon and Kazakhstan.
